In 2007, I was offered a contract working with the fine folks at Global Schools Ltd. who connect qualified Canadian teachers to high quality teaching opportunities around the world.

Within the confines of this organization, I refer potential candidates to them to consider for the prestiguous Maple Bear pre-school program whose goal is to establish an enthusiasm for learning and knowledge in young learners that will serve as a foundation for future success in the formal education system.

There are currently 31 Maple Bear pre-schools operating worldwide, 1 in Bangladesh, 9 in Brazil, 16 in India and 7 in South Korea. The head office of Global Schools is located in Vancouver, Canada.

I also refer for the Canadian Cultural and Language Institute (CLI) in Seoul which is owned by the Canadian Education Centre Network. Unlike Maple Bear, who teach young children only and require a B.Ed, students at CLI range from young children learning basic vocabulary to business professionals working in the international marketplace. Also, a B.Ed is NOT required to work at CLI.
